Definitions of individual stats are as below (data provided by Opta Sports):

Goal/Own Goal: Opta confirm official goalscorers, after consultation with governing bodies. In case of deflections, if the original shot was on target it's credited to the attacker, if the shot was off target it's credited as an own goal.

Shot on target: Any attempt that goes into the goal or is a clear attempt to score but is saved by the goalkeeper or a 'last-man' defender. Shots which hit the woodwork don't count, unless the ball goes in. Blocked shots by players that aren't the last-man aren't counted.

Shot off target: Any attempt which goes over or wide of the goal without making contact with another player or would have if a goalkeeper or defender had stopped it. Shots that hit the woodwork and don't go in the goal are classed as off target, blocked shots don't count.

Blocked Shot: Any attempt that is blocked by a goalkeeper, outfield player or unintentionally be a teammate. Goalline clearances don't count as blocked shots.

Location for Goals/Shots: The position of the ball when a shot is originally taken - can be inside or outside either the 6-yard or 18-yard box. Any shot on the line will be considered as inside that area.

Goal Assist: The final touch leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. If the final touch is deflected, a goal assist is given if the receiving player was likely to receive the ball without the deflection. Own goal, direct free-kicks, corner goals and penalties don't count.

Pass: Any intentional played ball from one player to another including open play passes, goal kicks, corners and free kicks played as pass – but exclude keeper throws and throw-ins. Crosses are considered passes when calculating the total passes.

Cross: Any intentional played ball from a wide position intending to reach a team mate in a specific area in front of the goal.

Hit Woodwork: Any situation where the ball hits the frame of the goal but doesn't result in a goal. A shot that hits the woodwork multiple times, only counts as one. Only available for the attacking team.

Tackle: A tackle is defined as where a player connects with the ball in a ground challenge where he successfully takes the ball away from the player in possession. Cutting out a pass doesn't count as a tackle.

Offside: Awarded to the player deemed to be in an offside position where a free kick is awarded. If two or more players are in an offside position when the pass is played, the player considered to be most active and trying to play the ball is given offside.

Corner (won, lost and taken): A corner won is collected for the team being awarded a corner, and corner lost for the team conceded a corner for the opposition team. A corner taken is added when the player taking the corner has carried out the action.

Goal Kick/Throw-In: This is awarded to the team/player taking a goal kick/throw-in.

Cards: Cards are collected as yellow, 2nd yellow or red card.

Bookings/Booking Points: Bets are settled based on the following:

Yellow card = 1 booking / 10 points

Red card = 2 bookings/ 25 points

Maximum bookings per player = 3 (e.g. 2 yellow cards resulting in a red card) / 35 points

Booking points valid in 90 minutes only.

Both teams to score: A prediction on both teams to score a goal in the match. Own goals don't count.

Other Football

All bets are for 90 minutes unless otherwise stated. Extra time and penalties will not count - except when phrases 'To Qualify' & 'Lift The Trophy' are quoted.

Own goals do not count towards any player's goal tallies (unless otherwise stated).

Any bets involving players to be carded; only cards awarded once the player is active in the match will count in 90 minutes. Any cards shown after the final whistle do not count.

Horse Racing

Any bet placed prior to the final declarations being made will be subject to the Coral Ante-Post rules.

Fixed odds forecasts/tricasts: If one or more of the named horses are non-runners, bets are void.

Two or more horses to place in the same race: If one or more of the named horses are non-runners, bets are void.

Enhanced win multiples: If one or more of the named horses are non-runners, bets revert to Starting Price (SP) singles or multiples on the remaining runners.

Enhanced place multiples: If one or more of the named horses are non-runners, bets are void.

Day or race/ante-post double: If the horse is a non-runner, the bet becomes an ante-post single at current ante-post odds. The ante-post part of the bet is always 'all in run or not', irrelevant of any concessions elsewhere on the website.

Race winner and winning distance doubles or trebles: If one or more of the named horses are non-runners, bets are void.

Named Jockey's Number of Winners at an individual meeting?

  1. Bets are settled on the official result.
  2. First past the post does not count for bets placed on this market.
  3. Charity races and Arab races do not count for bets placed on this market.
  4. If the named jockey does not have at least one ride at the meeting, bets placed on this market will be void.
  5. If the named jockey rides in fewer races than originally intended, bets placed on this market will stand.
  6. If the named jockey finishes in a dead heat for first place, they will be awarded one win for bets placed on this market.
  7. If the named jockey rides in a walk-over, that race will not count towards this market.
  8. If one or two races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, bets placed on this market will stand.
  9. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, bets placed on this market will be void unless a winning selection has been established in this market.
  10. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting and a winning selection has been established in this market, bets placed on that selection in this market will have already won and will be settled as winners.

Named Trainer's Number of Winners at an individual meeting?

  1. Bets are settled on the official result.
  2. First past the post does not count for bets placed on this market.
  3. Charity races and Arab races do not count for bets placed on this market.
  4. If the named trainer does not saddle at least one runner at the meeting, bets placed on this market will be void.
  5. If the named trainer saddles fewer runners than originally intended, bets placed on this market will stand.
  6. If the named trainer finishes in a dead heat for first place, they will be awarded one win for bets placed on this market.
  7. If the named trainer saddles a runner in a walk-over, that race will not count towards this market.
  8. If one or two races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, bets placed on this market will stand.
  9. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting, bets placed on this market will be void unless a winning selection has been established in this market.
  10. If three or more races are abandoned or made void at the selected meeting and a winning selection has been established in this market, bets placed on that selection in this market will have already won and will be settled as winners.

How many Winning SP Favourites will there be at each individual meeting?

  1. For settlement purposes, in the event of co favourites or joint favourites, the one with the lowest race card number will be deemed favourite.
  2. If any favourite is withdrawn and no market is reformed, the favourite will be the 2nd favourite with the lowest race card number.
  3. If a meeting is abandoned, bets will be void unless the specified number of favourites have already won.

All SP Favourites to be placed at each individual meeting?

Individual Horse Winning Distance Specials

  1. All bets will lose unless the nominated horse wins the race. However, if the nominated horse is a non-runner, all bets will be void unless it was an ante-post bet on an all-in run or not basis.
  2. If there are other non-runners in the race, a rule 4 deduction may be applied to the prices for both winning over and under the specified number of lengths.
  3. All bets will be settled on a first past the post basis. However, if one of the first two horses home has taken the wrong course or is carrying the incorrect weight, the winner will be deemed to be the first horse past the post who has taken the correct course. The winning distance will then be taken from the first horse to legitimately complete the course back to the second horse to legitimately complete the course.
  4. Dead heat rules apply. If the nominated horse dead heats with another runner, bets on the nominated horse to win under the specified distance will be settled as winners at half the initial stake.

Horse to Win Today & a Relevant Future Ante-Post race

  1. All bets will lose unless the nominated horse wins both nominated races.
  2. In the event of the horse becoming a non-runner in the day of race event, bets revert to an ante-post single on the nominated ante-post race (Price at the time of bet placement).
  3. In the event of the horse becoming a non-runner in the ante-post event, bets will lose.
  4. Dead heat rules apply. If the nominated horse dead heats with another runner, bets on the nominated horse to win will be settled as winners at half the initial stake.
  5. In the event of the day of race event being abandoned/postponed, bets revert to an ante-post single on the nominated ante-post race (price at the time of bet placement).
  6. In the event of the ante-post race being abandoned and not taking place, bets revert to a day of race single on the nominated race (price at the time of bet placement).
  7. In the event of the ante-post race being postponed and taking place at the same track at a later date, all ante-post bets will stand.

Total Winning Distances at a Nominated Meeting

  1. Bets are placed on the aggregate of the winning distances from one race meeting. If the winning distance is under one length, the following numerical values will apply: Nose = 0.05, Short-Head = 0.1, Head = 0.2, Quarter of a length = 0.25, Neck = 0.3, Half a length = 0.5 and Three quarters of a length = 0.75.
  2. The maximum distance for any one race is 12 lengths for a flat race and 30 lengths for a National Hunt race, which includes National Hunt flat races.In the event of a walkover the following distances will apply: 12 lengths for National Hunt races, including National Hunt flat races and 5 lengths for flat races.
  3. In the event of only one horse finishing in a race, the following distances will apply: 30 lengths for a National Hunt race, including National Hunt flat races and 12 lengths for a flat race.
  4. All distance bets will be settled on the original distance recorded by the winner who was first past the post. However, if a horse has taken the wrong course, it will be ignored for distance betting and the aggregate winning distance will then be calculated between the first two runners past the post who have taken the correct course.
  5. If a meeting has three or more races abandoned or declared void, all bets will be void unless the winning over band for the market has already been established, in which case, all bets will stand (win or lose).
  6. If only one or two races are abandoned or declared void, bets will be settled with a default distance used for each abandoned or void races: 6 lengths for National Hunt races, including National Hunt Flat races and 2 lengths for Flat races.

Race to have the longest winning distance at the meeting

  1. If the winning distance is under one length, the following numerical values will apply: Nose = 0.05, Short-Head = 0.1, Head = 0.2, Quarter of a length = 0.25, Neck = 0.3, Half a length = 0.5 and Three quarters of a length = 0.75.
  2. Bets are settled on the official result.
  3. The officially declared winning distance is calculated between the first two horses past the post that have completed the race having followed the correct course and carried the correct weight.
  4. In the event of only one horse finishing in a race, the following distances will apply: 30 lengths for a National Hunt race, including National Hunt flat races and 12 lengths for a flat race.
